  • IP Grade Laboratory

    From the criterion of international electro technical commission IEC 60529. Ingress Protection is the electrical equipment enclosure protection grade of foreign invasion; this standard has been adopted in 2004 to the national standard. IP is the international code used to identified protection grade, IP level is composed of two Numbers, the first number means dustproof; second number means waterproof, the greater the number the higher degree of protection. Lamps and lanterns IP grade standard: 1.Dustproof level 0 means unprotected. 2.means prevent greater than 50 mm solid foreign invasion, prevent the human body due to inadvertent encounters parts inside the lamp. 3.means prevent greater than 12.5 mm solid invasion, prevent fingers touching the internal parts of lamps and lanterns. 4.means prevent greater than 2.5 mm solid foreign invasion. 5.means prevent greater than 2.5 mm solid foreign invasion. 6.means dustproof, unable to completely prevent dust intrusion, but the invasion dust quantity will not affect the normal operation of electrical. 7. means dust tight, completely prevent dust intrusion. Waterproof Grade: 1 means prevent drop of water, prevent vertical drop of water droplets 2 means prevent 15 degrees tilt drop, when lamps and lanterns is 15 degrees tilt, still can prevent the dripping water. 3 means prevent spray water, rain, or vertical direction Angle is less than 50 degrees jet of water. 4 means prevent splash water; prevent the directions of water intrusion. 5 means prevent water proof; prevent waves or blowholes rapid spewing water intrusion. 6 means prevent strong water proof, prevent fierce waves or rapid spray water intrusion. 7 means prevent flooding, lamps and lanterns sink in water but can be normal operation. 8 means prevent diving, lamps and lanterns under certain pressure of the water, prevent water invasion. Protection grade laboratory can be based on standard GB 4208 "(IP) protection grade, GB 7000.1 the lamps and lanterns, part 1: general requirements and test standard for testing.

    Electrical Laboratory is to test the electrical characteristic of light fixtures and drivers in all aspects. Testing Items: 1.Test voltage, current, power factor, voltage total harmonic distortion (THD), current total harmonic distortion (THD) and True RMS for 0-50 times. 2.Test votlage, current and power. 3.Test output voltage, current waveform, voltage and current ripple. Evaluation On Driver. Test transfer efficiency of constant current or constant voltage, load regulation, input adjustment rate , waveform, starting time and THD etc. Main Testing Equipment: 1.ktronix, imported from USA, and equipment with high-precision, wide band wide multi-function oscilloscope, with full range voltage probe, current probe and attenuation probe etc. 2.Chroma, imported from Taiwan,a product with test variable-frequency power sources, power meter and electronic load for LED. 3.EVERFINE, famous China brand, with high precision AC power source and LED driver function testing etc.

  • Electrical safety laboratory

    The goal of Electrical safety testing is to assure the luminary meets electrical safety standards and are safe for use. The basic content of electrical safety consists of two aspects: one aspect is to research and to understand the cause of electrical hazards and accidents, this procedure includes understanding of the mechanism, causes, constitution, characteristics, rules and protective measures of the luminary. This is not only to prevent serious hazards towards personal safety such as unexpected fire and explosions, but also to prevent smaller accidents such as electrical shocks. Other reasons for electricity safety testing are to solve different kinds of security issues, to evaluate the security of the system by using methods of electrical monitoring, electrical inspection and electrical control methods to evaluate the security of the system. The design and usage of the luminary should work safely and without danger to people or the environment when they are in normal use. Therefore testing is an important part to verify the qualification and quality of the luminary. Luminaries and accessories most common test items include: testing resistance, electric strength, leakage current, grounding continuity, climbing electrical distance and clearances, normal and abnormal work condition temperature, moisture test, test for internal wiring and external wiring, material of flame retardant properties, mechanical strengths and insulation. The Electrical safety laboratory is in accordance with GB 7000.1(Luminaires--Part1:General requirements and tests), EN/IEC 60598-1, UL1598,among other relevant standards for testing.

  • Environmental Reliability Testing Lab

    Environmental Reliability refers to the capability to keep normal function during continuous inside and outside climate condition or mechanical influence. Various testing equipment need be adopted to simulate the various weather conditions, and extreme stress will be carried out to speed up the process. Various tests include: Alternating Temperature Humidity Test, Constant Temperature Constant Humidity Test, High Temperature High Humidity Test, Temperature Shock Test, General Environmental Test, Vibration Test, Drop Test, Salty Test, Fast UV Aging Test.
